Why should I pay more for a Magic Circle Trampoline rather than purchase a discount house trampoline?
| Magic Circle | Others | |
| Construction | 14 gauge steel 1.66" diameter on round 1.9" diameter on 16' octagon 450 lb weight limit |
Often 15 gauge
steel 1.5 " diameter 200 lb weight limit |
| Strength & Stability |
Round - 6 piece
toprail and 6 legs (total 12 pieces). |
24-32 pieces, 3 piece legs and multiple pieces in the toprail (designed to fit in a box). |
| Moving Technique | Each leg holds 2 toprails together making a strong trampoline that 1 person can move across the yard without the legs falling off. | Some assembly instructions advise you to "tape all joints" with duct tape and even then requires two people to move the trampoline so the legs don't fall off! |
| Springs | 8 1/2" galvanized longer springs ensure the mat lasts longer because the springs alone provide the bounce. | Some are only 7" heavy duty, short, stiff springs put added stress on the frame and the mat with every bounce. |
| Safety Pads | Double layer of impact foam over frame covered with heavy-duty vinyl backed with a breathable material to keep moisture out. Pads are securely attached because a spring goes through a sleeve at each end of pad not just secured with flimsy straps. | Usually thinner foam covered with a lower grade of vinyl or other material, secured with straps or ties that often detach allowing the pads to slip off the trampoline, providing no protection. |
What
is the recommended weight limit?
Magic Circle trampolines have a 450 lb weight limit while most competitors have
a 200 lb weight limit.
How
difficult is it to assemble?
No tools are required, no nuts, no bolts, no duct tape - one person can easily
assemble any of our trampolines in 1/2 hour. Most discount store trampolines
have nuts & bolts and often need joints to be secured with duct tape. These
require 2 people plus an hour or more to assemble.
What
would you recommend in quality or size of trampoline?
If a trampoline is being purchased for 1 or 2 small children to be used in a
supervised environment and no adults or teenagers would ever use it, a discount
store trampoline might be an acceptable choice. For a small family where parents
or teenagers would use the trampoline, the 12' round Magic Circle trampoline
would be a good choice. For a larger family, a 13'6" round Magic Circle trampoline
might be advisable as it provides a larger jumping surface. For the ultimate
in trampoline safety & fun, Magic Circle's 16' Octagon provides the largest
jumping surface of all & according to many of our satisfied customers in America
& Europe a superior bounce!
What
is the warranty on the trampoline?
10 years on the frame, 5 years on the springs, 1 + 4 years prorated on the mat. Click here for more details.
